Hold up. I work at a teen homeless shelter and we have our community meetings on Tuesday as well. And are we talking about Swampy the artist? Because if we are I have two posters from a show he had on my wall in my office at said teen shelter. Please excuse me while I go collect my blown mind.
This letter made me cry, but for two beautiful reasons. I feel grateful that I can deeply understand this level of community and phileo. Yet, I feel the grief of no longer being in that season of my life.
This line wrecked me: “I’m less likely to get pissed about a dirty sink if I know somebody’s heart is broken”
I signed up for the class you’re doing and I’m so excited!
This was beautiful, Anna. Thank you for your words, as always.

Wonderful insight and read as always. And thank you for sharing the beautiful poem by Katherine de Lancellotti.
